Well kind of, Put on to this from the Radio 2 F&A board. But I have found a Youtube version, not quite my style and it is a pity that no-one seems to know where the song comes from! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ium-IdPWxiYHave never seen this show in real life, it's bloody awful

Anyone who hasn't heard the original sung by the sublime Linda thompson go to http://bellsouthpwp.net/s/c/scoopy62/songs.htmwhere you can hear a clip.

I suppose it goes to show that with the correct material etc.. Like Nikita to do Waltzing for Dreamers next al a June Tabor - what would Simon, SHARON & Louis make of her How would Richard have faired on X Factor especially with his version of Oops I did it again!

Have never seen this show in real life, it's bloody awful If you've never seen it, how do you know it's bloody awful? We enjoy it as a bit of mindless fun. Once they get past the audition stage, with all the comedy auditionees, we tend to lose interest.

I have heard of Linda, but never had the pleasure of listening to her voice. Can anyone share who is singing the harmony parts with her on this sing. Absolutley TIGHT harmony and a perfect blend of voices.

Trainspotter alert....that's not the original version. Although it is very nice. As was that charming young lady's on the televisontube. If she gets any further I'll make a point of voting for her. Book her for Cropredy 2007 now.

The version mentioned above is not Linda! Richard sings harmony on the original!
It's a duo called Eamonn and Leslie from NYC/NJ - their website reveals him an ex-pat Irishman and herself a Jersey girl. Obviously highly competent and with good taste.

Wrong link ? None the less-- the song it led to was most enjoyable to the ears of a female barbershop quartet lead singer. That harmony was beautiful. I went and purhcased the music and it is being arranged in four part harmony, as we speak. Thanks for the error Tasha
