I was a big fan of 10,000 Maniacs before I ever heard Fairport. I love their version of "Just as the tide was a flowing" as well, which again I loved before having heard of The Albion Band. I didn't even realise that 10,000 Maniacs still played. How I wish they would appear at Cropredy! |

Yes, same here. I didn't even realise that 10,000 Maniacs still played. How I wish they would appear at Cropredy!

That's more than a little impressive...like others I had absolutely no idea they still operated...I've kept half an eye on Natalie's career but not on their's. Must amend that. |

Well I checked back to when this thing was put up on You Tube in October, and it doesn't appear anyone here has shared it yet. I regularly litter my Facebook page with music videos of various stripes, surely well into the several hundreds by now, this one would have to be as well constructed as any I can recall. A real work of love, I don't think it would be in the least out of place to show it at Cropredy. Back in 1975, The Seekers reformed for the first time, with Dutch singer Louisa Wiesseling. They put out one self-titled LP with that line-up, and Swarb appeared on one track "Break These Chains".
