Is it just me or does anyone else suddenly have problems accessing youtube? Every time I click on a link I get a page with a list of videos but no matter how many times I click on them nothing happens.
It's just you Mick have you tried turning off and back on again..... Strange as it may seem, it WAS just me. Something in my settings that I must have accidentally triggered and now I have accidentally put right!!

Trevor Lucas produced a couple of albums for the Bushwackers, but never recorded or sang with them. In 1983 though, he joined them onstage for a few songs at the ANU in Canberra. This is one song from that recording, Bold Jack Donahue, never officially released. The original source was at least a 3rd generation reel to reel with hiss, low volume and sound that wandered from one side to the next. It sounds better fixed up here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-NCd_zFPJc

I'd not seen this before tonight. The 1979 documentary on The Albion Band - some wonderful footage and an embryonic "Alright Jack" pre-Home Service days. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUJXwowVn1E&list=PLshOdDCpItmZ33SifH_2QpiwGklNuCtei

I think someone else posted a link to it a while back. But well worth resharing, as it is fascinating.

In honor of Dave Pegg's birthday yesterday, I hereby unleash on the world rare footage from his 45th birthday recorded in Toledo Ohio on 2 NOV 1992. I had the honor of hanging out with him at a hotel bar after a Jethro Tull gig, and my friend and I had brought along a mandolin and my flute on the off-chance he'd be interested in jamming. Here's our attempt at Locomotive Breath. (I no longer dabble on flute, by the way -- I'm now strictly a bassist.) Camera operator: Andrew Giddings http://vimeo.com/110727367

Not a YouTube clip but a new radio interview with Jimmy Page. He talks about 'The Battle Of Evermore' from 24:50 and about Fairport and Sandy from 26:50. John Bonham was a big fan of Mr Mattacks, apparently. Or perhaps we knew that already? Online until Thursday, probably: http://radioplayer.planetrock.com/la1249117/

There was talk on the Chatter thread some months back about the slideshow that accompanied The Hiring Fair back in 1986. Probably featuring Steph Pegg and thought to be lost in the mists of time. It did appear on the Cropredy Capers video from '86 but that's long deleted. Anyway - here's the slideshow! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFKIh-vk7Tg

Good memories of my early Fairport watching days!

Given the chatter about the relative merits of past & present line-ups, it's probably worth re-posting a link to this half hour of sheer delight from 1970. Not new, but I only saw it for the first time last night. The exuberance of the performance provides that spark of excitement that is, to my ears, all too rare these days. Pretty fab in my 'umble https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQsMdKcXyRE
