If you are the hardy sort there is an excellent campsite just up the road at Great Bourton. Details are :
Barnstones Caravan & Camping SiteGreat Bourton Banbury Oxfordshire OX17 1QU Tel: 01295 750289
I think it stays open all year, but perhaps Chris B can confirm this as he is local.

At the moment I've decided I'm never camping again, ever, whatever the time of year.... but I suspect I'll weaken when the festival season rolls round again But November!!!!! I don't think so! Mic

I have to confess I would not attempt it in a tent.
Its ok in the van though, with the electric radiator and the thermal blinds. Warm as toast it be.

I think it stays open all year, but perhaps Chris B can confirm this as he is local. It is open all year - but only the hardy would attempt it in late November - we had snow at that time last year! But he takes campervans - there are electric hook-ups, etc....

And I thought people on this site were dedicated!
Can't be any wetter than any Cropredy I've been to unless ofcourse Richard Thompson's on the bill then well we could or perhaps should expect icestorms, blizzards, hurricanes........
I wonder if this could all get out of hand.

You want to try sleeping three blokes to a car in a Welsh forest during the RAC rally inearly Novemer. It gets so , er warm, you have to open the windows.
Should be an atmospheric gig though.
