Ok, I've been procrastinating, compounded by returning to work, apologies. They'll be with you next week.

Just got back from the post office Those of you in the UK should have them in the next couple of days, those in Europe by the end of the week and those in the states next week. Sorry it's taken so long, I got there in the end Never having written DVDs before I'm not sure how reliable they are, I'd suggest copying them to your hard drive if you have a PC with a DVD drive. The copy I've used for testing has started jumping on my (quite old) DVD player but still plays perfectly on the PC. Anyway, enjoy If any don't arrive within 2 weeks let me know and I'll send again.

Thanks again Ewen - what a gem from the vaults !! Think I have a faulty copy though - the 5.1 surround sound doesn't seem to work ? Does anyone recognise themselves (or their parents ?) in the crowd ?

Sorry if this has been posted before - the Maidstone gig was filmed by Tony Palmer and shown in cinemas - I saw it in what is now the Broadway Cinema in Nottingham. Tony himself introduced it and said that it was filmed using a combination of video and film technology. Coincidentally I recently found this interesting site http://www.tvstudiohistory.co.uk/index.htm which contains the following: ...Also known officially as 'Video Film Recording' (VFR), it was an experiment using combined film and TV cameras rather like ...the French system hired in to make the Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus at Intertel's Wembley studio in the same year. It seems that the BBC were interested in trying out this technique too - thus ending up with a colour 16mm filmed programme by using television multicamera techniques. Of course, this never happened. It is said that the system was unreliable and in some way difficult for the cameramen... So that VHS tape actually contains 1970 cutting edge technology. Spacehopper anyone?

Disc arrived on Friday. Thanks a lot once again, Goatboy- made a big mental note for 1 or 2 pints at Cropredy. Listened to / watched it twice during the weekend. Boy, were they young then (so were we) ... and loads of hairs ( so had we)
Good to see that "unmodern" music of 1970 is still going strong
