I like to think of the start of winter as the autumn equinox when the nights start to draw in and its harvest time. technically june21st and dec21st are mid-summer and  mid-winter, them being the longest and shortest days.  dates do vary though between eg earliest sunrise/latest sunset/ longest daylight hours.
its flippin cold today tho innit?

so sayeth my shiverin' bones.
and the fact that we now have two indoor pet rabbits so they dont freeze to death outside!
and that my car wouldnt start this morning either-best organise a lift home!
