Anyone ever fancied typing something in the

font?.....

It's known as Koster Xmas Special, and is available here for the princly sum of $6....

Unless you know which font-type you want, I would recommend TrueType.

I've ALWAYS wanted to know where you could get this font.

It's an installable cab in Windows, so anywhere you like and then just double click to install.

You should have the option to choose evaluation mode.

Download the WinRAR 3.62 trial from here http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

That should do it Cheesy

Should be interesting to see what people do with this for next Cropredy, what with inkjet t-shirt xfer sheets and even temporary tattoo sheets Shocked

But with excessive use will the band not need to re-brand. As opposed to re-band which they have numerous times Grin

Zipped files should open automatically in Windows XP without actually installing the program.

If not, you can install the evaluation version, and it will hapilly work beyond it's 30 day limit.

OK, I know this sounds a bit thick, but I've never downloaded a font before - does it add itself to the list of fonts in the drop-down box? If not, how do I use it? I think I saved it to the right place, but it didn't drop-down when I tried it ... do I have to log out and log back in again? I am running XP by the way.

 Huh

Ensure it's in the windows/fonts directory and it should appear on the list, you shouldn't need to log out.  And welcome, fellow Dead Can Dance fan Smiley

Hi GoatBoy - Thanks for the welcome   Grin
and thanks for the advice, I shall have to try again. I thought I had stored it in the right place but evidently not. Can't wait to try it out!
