Words between the lines of age

In the Eric Anderson thread there are some comments about transcribed lyrics being wrong. This even happens in official songbooks. The Sandy Denny Songbook (the old one, not Maart's one) has a line from A Sailor's Life as

"And every queenship that we pass by,
Their island choir for my sailor boy".

Which should of course be, "There I'll enquire for my sailor boy".

Even more puzzlingly, the book also has the last line of the song as:

"How can my real love, my sweet William is gone", which should be

"How can I live now, my sweet William is gone."

What's puzzling is that the lyrics aren't that hard to understand on the record. Any others like this?
