Didn't make it, but I did meet Mr Tilston in the toilets at Corley services on his way there.
Looks absolutely wonderful - are Smooth Operations involved so it might pop up on Mike Harding's show sometime soon?

Wow.. what a weekend and what a gig! Reminiscent of Peggy's 50th at Dudley Town Hall.. but a lot posher! The whole evening was fast paced, each change being very slick, and most confined to no more than two numbers. I lost track of who played what with who... but there were no lows at all for me and some superb highs. Dan ar Bras Rising for the Moon partially in French was truly sublime as was Beth NC's Solo. Bouree was fab and I recalled a schoool friend letting me hear it for the first time in those days of Living in the Past and Witches Promise.. now to be hearing it played in this situation.. perfect Peggy asked us if we'd come to Brum Town Hall next year for his 70th birthday.. we all said we would... It was lovely to see so many TAWers there .. too many to name... but we all had a great time, both at the gig and afterwards Oh there was one low though.. the price of the drinks.... Roll on Peggy's 70th (but not too fast!)

It went along the lines of Peggy asking "Shall we do it again next year" ? Of course the crowd screamed Yeah and by calling it his 70th next year, he implied we could possibly one day attend his 150th.........Oh..it was one of those..you had to be there !!!
What a superb evening, atmosphere and music. Organising it all must have been horrendous and the smooth running......number of artists etc. Hats off to all involved.
Thank you for letting us share in your 60th birthday Peggy.......when do the tix for your 70th go on sale ??

Hi jangast, you probably can't see it because you have 'anonymous member' under your name. If you look at the homepage of TAW you should see a big red sign saying 'Anonymous members please read this' or something similar ( I can't tell you exactly because only anonymouses can see it!) Have a read of that and do what's asked and you can be unanonymoused Jude

Yes, what a night. And what a nice place for a birthday party I can´t name a highlight for me, but Beth NC was so good, she made me cry. And Dan Ar Braz. And Swarb. And....................... So many funny moments. Did you see The TTL dancing during Bouree? Stagemanager Simon did a great job. It was hard work to get all the people onstage in time, because everybody was chatting backstage. And having some drinks

Just a quick note to say it was lovely to meet up with lots of TalkAwhile folk once more (as always), apologies to those I didn't get to see / annoy (hopefully next time), thanks to all involved in making it happen (*especially* for the tickets, you know who you are) and once more a Happy Birthday to Peggy
