I noticed among the special thanks on the recent SOA Cd Peggy thanked Mick Toole for 25 years of loyal service for his artwork. I was just wondering if Mick was responsible for the Tshirts and especially the Cropredy ones?

Also just out of interest which are other peoples favorite Fairport T Shirt designs?  I am pretty fond of my 2004 Cropredy shirt personally.

I hope this does not start off another dialogue about table tennis plastic shoes and pedal/pedants like my last posting!

Even though 06 was my first Croppers, i like the Celtic knotwork design ones (94 I think). 2006 are also really nice (05... no thanks!!)

Also, this tread could include favourite Fairport album art. To start the ball rolling, XXXV and Full House are my favourites

Not strictly artwork, in that it's a photo (I think photography is an art but I suspect there are those that won't), but I love the cover to Unhalfbricking. Always makes me smile

I think Mick Toole does the programmes and the posters. I thing the T-shirts are someone else.

What am I doing, talking about Fairport!

Calm down, lad.  We'll start to worry when you start talking  Lips Sealed music  Lips Sealed.

I possess one Cropredy T-shirt.  It was given to me.  Possibly because it's a raspberry pink colour and comes down to my knees.  I wear it to bed.

Talking of which.  Forget the blimmin' t-shirts.  I don't want t-shirts.  Yes to the following merchandise, say I - a John Lee muffler (state noose size), a Matty mug, 40th anniversary special reserve limited edition Fairport jam or marmalade, Polly on the Shore wellingtons, a Tam Lin garden elfin and a Fairport mouse mat.  T-shirts?  Pah!  Passe.  Had its day. Over.  New balls please!

I suspect, since the t-shirts were brought in-house a year or so ago, that Mick does now have input in the design. Hopefully, I can ask him tonight.
