At the Lotus 7 club meet at a pub in Eynsford tonight, I happened to be wearing a Fairport t-shirt.

A member from the Essex side of the water ( Shocked) asked me 'if they were still going'.

Turns out he drew the cover for 'If I had a ribbon bow' !! Recalls he probably got a pint for doing it !!

What a small world !!

indeed I was teaching a class of adults and one of the pictures I was showing was a protrait of Tony Winn from SftBH
a woman in the class said "good lord is that Shane in the background?"

sadly I did not have time to interrogate her more. Perhaps she was one of the girls he sings about in Bless my broken heart?
