HIPPY BATHDAY to FAIRPORT and all who sail in her.... You have made me very happy Me too....and very poor, very wet, very tearful, very sunburnt, very everything....! Along with the Dead and CSNY (in all their solo and group permutations) they are the true essential soundtrack to my first 40 years (I'm 25 days older than you!).... thanks for the ride. Roll on Cropredy '07.

Happy Birthday to you - and thanks for all the music! If it wasn't raining so much I would go up to Muswell Hill and pay homage outside "Fairport". However, it is nearly lunchtime so I'll raise a glass instead - it's a tough job but somebody's got to do it!

I knew there was a reason why I had so much beer at lunchtime, and I thought it was only because it was raining Happy birthday and many more of them.

I didn't know it was today, but for some reason put the first album on to listen to whilst I cooked the lunch. (No, I wasn't cooking lobster, either). Spooky, or what....?
