I have asked the YT uploader, if he has more footage from this concert - specifically of "Red & Gold" -,
which had its live premiere on this (these) occassion(s) (3 warm up concerts before Cropredy 1987),
but unfort. he doesn't; "just" a couple of other FC songs (the titles escapes me atm.). He wasn't
there himself; the VHS-tape came from a friend, but he has forgotten who.
So hopefully the real photographer will some day step forward and upload the rest of his material -
and just maybe "Red & Gold" will be included Now that would truly be amazing!

Well, at least we have now managed to come across audio recordings of FC & Ralph performing Ralph's
wonderful and poetic song for the first time(s) live, so we shouldn't really complain too much, should we?

But I have to admit that I didn't really pay very much attention to this TV-
series back when it was first on air here, as I felt "slightly" outside its intended
target audience  

But today I would probably watch it every time, just for the intro and the outtro

There's this version of 'England', with slideshow - I think that the pictures mostly go very well with the song. This version of 'Barges' is from a performance at Port Elliot in 2009.

There's also a version of 'Clare to Here', in which, at one point, it appears that Ralph is slowly being engulfed by a rising fog. The notes describe it as showing 'a very young Ralph', though I'd guess that he's in his early fifties, at least. (Yes, I know, that's not old   ) Does anyone know when this was filmed?

Also, there are two versions of SOl - this one might (or might not!) be appreciated by Ralph's wife -  hope it's a good translation  
The second version of SOl, here, reminds me of an occasion a few years ago when we went to the 'Victorian Extravaganza' in LLandudno. Like some strange sort of time-warp we passed someone with a Victorian hurdy-gurdy type instrument playing SOL!    This one isn't a hurdy-gurdy, but sounds similar.
