Do you know the late Stan Rogers' wonderful song Northwest Passage about a modern Canadian's view of Franklin's expedition? Covered by Show of Hands amongst others, but Stan's original version remains the best.

Apparently the boys picked up on the song over here and when they played it at a festival in Canada it brought the house down. But it's a great song, regardless. |
