Here's an idea that I came up witth a few days ago.  Maaybe one of your inhabitants of Merry Olde England would undertake this task:
   
  A Guide to Folk Rock sites in the UK
   
  The most obvious choices are, of course, Cropredy, the Fairport House in London, the location of the UFO club, the Roundhouse,  but there are many others, Like Winterbourne Stoke, where Ashley wintered with the earliest incarnation of Steeleye Span, Barford St. Michael, Sandy & Trevor's house, key pubs, venues for folk rock, festivals, Morris dancers, etc.  Kinda like the "In Search of Albion" book, but more geared to the music side of things.
   
    I've looked in those travel guides at the library, but they are for rich people and/or very conservative middle of the road type folks. There not about folk or rock or folk-rock music at all.
   
  Anybody game to undertake this?

Sounds a great idea - but one for all English folk / folk rock would be pretty difficult to complete, there'd be dozens in Oxfordshire alone with it's Morris traditions.

One for Fairport and it's off shoots would be prett cool though, especially when one factors in all of Ashley's work.

So, my additions to Chuck's list:

Broughton Castle - site of an early fairport festival
Fotheringay - for obvious reasons
White Bear, Masham - Live at the White Bear etc
Birmingham Symphony Hall - scene of FC's biggest gigs in recent years

Trying to move out of London and the folk rock belt a bit as well. Any other suggestions,

I take it the ex-pub in Little Hadham is no more? In that case, a Plaque from The Fairport Trust, maybe...??

   Some Folk-rock pilgrims might be keen to visit Nick Drake's grave, former home, and the scene of some true inspiration, in Tanworth-in-Arden, Warwickshire.

  It's not a vast distance from Cropredy (roughly thirty five miles, about ten miles north of Stratford); I mention this because there's a gathering of fan's and musicians in the village of Tanworth on August 3rd and 4th this year, so anybody holidaying in Cropredy week might want to combine the two events. Information here:

Very much there and lived in, complete with scar on the brickwork where the lorry came in.

Swarb lived somewhere in Scotland for a while, didn't he?  Anyone know where, exactly?  (And I believe he also lived in Australia at some point, but maybe that's a bit off the beaten track if this is supposed to be a British folk rock sites tour).

There is a burial mound in Orkney said to be in memory of Sir Patrick Spens.

Blenheim Palace worth a visit to remember Lord Marlborough, and of course a trip to Babbacombe in recognition of John Lee.
