If it was a tribute band mainly concentrating on the Liege & Lief to Full House period and they wore authentic clothing of the period they could be called Flaresport Convention.........

And, next question: having named your band, who would you be?

I suspect that for a lot of blokes of a certain age and hairstyle, it is possible to do a creditable impression of Mr Nicol or Mr Pegg and with a certain amount of guitar knowledge produce an albeit second rate imitation of their musical styles. But the problem would be the fiddlers. Are they simply inimitable?

And just like nobody does the young Elvis it would be difficult to do the young RT. But then I suspect the current RT is pretty impossible....

You'd make a good Simon, Andy.

I'd need a sex change and lots of fiddle/mando/singing lessons...  Hey ho.

I'm over 6 foot and I sing pretty deep, so I'll dye my hair and be Trevor.

You'll have to become Small Dave first!  And can you chain smoke and fiddle at the same time?  Or will you be post-smoking Swarb?

Actually, Ollie, it seldom rains on RT - he's on a covered stage. It's the rest of us that suffer from the presence of the Rain God.

RT & Rain example 1:  Guilfest 2007.  Al very sunny day with occasional cloud.  With in minutes of RT's set starting it rained, albiet for only a very short time and but it did rain, and it was the only time it did that day.

If it  wasnt rain, it must have come from the aircraft flying over on thier way to Londo Heathrow or Gatwick Shocked
