So after taking the negative route what are the top songs you never get tired of and why?
For me:
Bring Em Down
Sloth
Spanish Main
Widow of Westmoreland
Suzanne
Just about sums up the Fairport canon for me from gentle introspective songs to experimental journeys via trad, who really needs more.

More surprises please would be my vote! Stuff that doesn't get wheeled out very often (Or at all!), combinations of people doing songs not necessarily from their era. I don't mind recent stuff, some of it is very good BUT the very special 40th anniversary event is not the time for it, this year I want to wallow in delights  |
