Hopefully, FC film this 40th cropredy and release a dvd. Knowing that, they delve deep in the songbook and play songs that make everyone laugh, cry, and dance. World peace ensues and a wonderful time is had by all. The dvd becomes #1 on amazon and the world is a better place.
Seriously, I want Lord Marlborough and the spanish main. Pretty please.

Will it be the 40th line up or the sat nite FC? Or both?

Friday was recorded on audio only, initially for the BBC.
Saturday's was the DVD performance.

There was someone in the pit with a video camera. I was about to say 'oh yes it was'! I saw at least 3 cameras.

Seriously? The same cameras as used Saturday? Or just people with video cameras?

I suspect one was recording clips for the BBC website. The other two, I think, were personal. But would have been approved by the BBC, for sure.

No, not really - apart from to repeat that you were wrong - there were definitely 'stealth' recordings made of the set.

I think the cameras talked about were actually in the photography pit, for which you have to have a special pass for. Hardly stealth then.

There were definitely people with large cameras in the pit in front of the stage during my bit and after...

They may be the cameras others were talking about, but not the ones I was talking about.....

There were several video cameras being used most of the the festival in the public areas. The rest of us were referring to the absence / presence of video cameras in the pit area, for which authorisation would definitely have been needed. From the BBC no less for the Liege & Lief set.

I was in the front row on both Friday and Saturday nights and don't remember there being any notably sized video equipment on the Friday night, although tbh I was so engrossed in the set I wasn't really paying attention to much else. Saturday of course had a couple of camera guys either side on the stage itself and the two monsters in the pit, which I understood were for the DVD.

Those on Friday were hand-held, which is why I said I thought they were for personal use only.
