Not impressed Angry. Far too short times allowed for the acts. If we had seen the timings before I'm not that sure we would have booked.

I remember somewhere reading somewhere that Swarb was gonna make a guest apperance with FC. I wonder what they will do?

Oh, and if you can, check out Gareth Pearson. He is only 18 and is an amazing guitar player. Definate slot for next years Cropredy methinks.

On the other hand, you could argue that it's a marvellous opportunity to see a wide range of turns and that if you don't like one there'll be another along in a minute. One would hardly expect to start reading on the interweb about a group of FC fans who stormed in for their set, buggered off afterwards and weren't interested in any other other acts? Substitute the initials MA for FC, for instance.
Oh, and Ollie - have a word with yourself - you've started using the word 'methinks'.

If a festival is being sold on the basis of the headline acts then it is hardly unreasonable to expect that they are going to have a decent length of time to perform.
Had no intention of just seeing FC and had coughed up for weekend tickets and hotel plus travel so that we could see a range of acts but in particular Jim Moray on the sunday, who it appears will be on stage for a sum total of 35 minutes Shocked. Because finances are tight we have to be very careful about which concerts / festivals we choose to go to and with more information I don't think this would have been the one. I very much hope to be proved wrong.
As they apparently have two stages then maybe it would have been possible to have given the more popular acts longer. It seems like the organisers have tried to cram too much in.

It looks like the sets could be even shorter than advertised - there is no time allowed for change overs in Chris's list.

I'm looking forward to it. I get used to shorter acts than we get at Cropredy, at Cambridge. It'll be nice to hear some different/new people. And a challenge not to buy too many cds Roll Eyes

Yes, there is - at least 20 minutes between sets. You have noticed that there are two stages?
