is the long haired Bjorn Borg lookalike bloke sitting next to Bob Dylan in Don't Look Back at the Savoy hotel Trevor Lucas ? he can be seen for quite a while during the Donovan and Dylan songs.

I'm pretty sure that it isn't Trevor, but there again I could be wrong.

Certainly if you Google appropriately there seems to be a school of thought that it could be Trevor but as far as I can tell no authoritative answer, and I sure as hell don't know.

Good one, Bill. My first reaction would have been to say "highly unlikely". However, I see Anthea Joseph placed him at the hotel, and she should have known - she was there. I guess I could ask Elizabeth. If you'd met Dylan it's not the sort of information you'd have kept from your lady wife, is it?!

the recently released 1965 deluxe version of Don't Look Back is worth getting if you like Dylan.it has an hour disc of out takes including a third take of Subterranean Homesick Blues with the cards.don't think there's any extra footage of "Trevor Lucas" though.

According to her obituary in The Independent, "in the 1965 tour documentary Don't Look Back, it is Anthea Joseph's dramatically anxious face Dylan is seen reassuring after a hotel glass-breaking incident". Of course, when Heylin interviewed her years later her memory could have been playing tricks about which particular folkies were present at the hotel. If Trevor only arrived in England in 1965 (as his bio says) he'd have had to move fast to get himself admitted to Dylan's court in time for his "appearance" in the film.

thanks for the information.it probably isn't him then.the Dylan shows at the Albert Hall were on May 9 and May 10.
i have an article here somewhere by Derroll Adams recalling that night but i think he only mentioned the usual suspects as being there ,the ones that everybody knows.
