2 tickets for the 100 Club gig on the 11th Oct have just been sold for £7.09 on eBay.  I'm not entirely sure what to read into this...........  Wink

I saw a couple for sale and the seller seemed to imply the gig is sold out ie by having 'sold out' printed over them.  There's another two for sale as well.

They still seem to be on sale (£18 advance) via the 100 Club website. This has reminded me that I need to do something about getting some tickets - although in my case this simply involves walking down there at lunchtime or after work. Are any other TAWers attending?

You can't get tickets at the Club itself except on the door on the night.

However, JB's Records in nearby Hanway Street do sell them at face value (cash only)
Check out the FAQs for ways to buy tickets.

Thanks, Chris. I hadn't read all the small print.A stroll to Hanway Street may now be in order.

I also note that Swarb's Lazarus are playing there on October 26th.

Yes - it was a deliberate speeling mistale!!  Smiley

It's a sort of in-joke - instead of saying memories we say mammories. What a crazy bunch we are!!  Roll Eyes

I have happy mammaries as well, you know!  Wink

I've played there once or twice, and there definitely wasn't any carpet, but other than that your description is spot-on, Jim.  Cheesy

I played there a couple of times in the late nineties.  You get a great sound there.  The toilets are shocking , really disgusting!

An’ you said we were going out to the 100 Club
Then you said “it ain’t my scene” then you turned up alone
Then you turned up alone

I'm not referring to anyone in particular but this thread got me a humming it.

no carpets, wood floor.

Real Ale though, and in the basement. Stage across the long side of a rectangular room - bar at one end, fire escape at the other.
Can get sweaty if it sells out - otherwise read the FAQs on their website

Should be there myself....

Just been and got my tickets so will also be getting the 100 Club experience and with no booking/postage fees.

Going to JB's records was an experience in itself. All second hand and mostly vinyl with someobody trying to sell them albums of dubious value for more than they were prepared to pay. Makes me wonder how much my old records are worth (if I was prepared to sell them).
