What's your view on audience recordings of Fairport (And other people you've been involved with!) appearing on the Internet?

Hello. There is nothing really that bands and musicians can do to stop this happening. It can be really useful and sometimes very embarassing if there are dodgy shows going out. What I really hate is when people profit from it by charging for it. I feel it's o.k. to swap or charge nominal postage and copying expenses . Anything other than that is theft as the performances do belong to the artists concerned or ( in the case of very big acts) their record companies.Regards, Peggy.
