Hi Dave,
thanks for taking part in TalkAwhile.
Can you tell us about working with Nick Drake? I discovered his music on an Island sampler called "Bumpers" - Hazey Jane was the track and I loved it from day 1. (Walk A While was on the same LP of course - so I discovered FC as well!) Did his nerves exhibit in the studio? Did he record a lot of music that has never been released or was it all put out? I've always wondered about how many of his compositions actually made it to vinyl. It seems from all reports that he hated live appearances, perhaps due to stage fright - any perspective on that?
Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy, I haven't answered this question for the simple reason that I don't have time and also all of my thoughts and memories on Nick have been used in other peoples books and articles on him. I spent a long time talking to Trevor Dann who was working on a book. Anyone know if that ever got published? I hope to have some memories in my book about my life and times, which hopefully will be out next November if I am spared!!! Sorry I can't go into a full reply . Cheers, peggy.

It came out in February, entitled "Darker Than the Deepest Sea: The Search for Nick Drake"
