Hi Dave,

As you are the man I blame most for encouraging my ruinously expensive addiction to folk/folk rock/acoustic music, can I ask what new artists/albums have been on the Pegg player recently?

Anyone with a special sound that I really must experience (and thus spend the rest of the family nest-egg)?  Wink

Hi Mark. Sorry to have led you astray! I am afraid that I am a bit out of touch due to being in Brittany house renovating for the last 6 weeks. "Bodega" who were fab at Cropredy and have a great cd. out and "Crosscurrent" from tyneside are my current faves  and I love Miss Polwart. You should be telling me what to check out! Cheers, peggy

Might I suggest a look/listen to Kerfuffle - www.kerfuffleonline.co.uk - They are a 4 piece band of local (Rotherham way) youngsters who on recent form would be well worthy of the Cropredy stage.

Kerfuffle were great at the Young Folk awards a year or two ago. I far preferred them to the winner!

I loved kerfuffle when I heard Their cd. 2 years ago and wanted to book them then.  Some cross booking stopped this from happening but there is always another year.Regards, Peggy.
