Dave.

Thanks for taking some time out to answer questions.

As a drummer, my all time hero is John Bonham, sadly I never got to see him play. I wondered if you could tell me a bit about what he was like to play with, listen to? How loud was he because all the stories I hear and read say he was just incredible and caused a stir wherever he went with his playing and his personality. It must have been a pretty special time in and around Birmingham in the late sixties with all that was happening, if you could share some of your experiences that would be fantastic.

Regards

Mick

hi Mick. Bonzo was the best and the loudest rock drummer I have ever played with. I have many stories and anecdotes and  have contributed to many books and articles on John in the past. Johns mom and wife were at Cropredy this year and we had some wonderful times recollecting happy days. I am writing a book for my 60th. birthday bash next nov3rd at Brum town hall(2007) and John will certainly be in it. Regards, Dave.
