Hi Swarb,
I read some very funny stories about FC (Pegg soiling himself at a concert and one about a guitar case being trown out a window in San Francisco). Any others come to mind that are fit to print?
Thanks,
Pat

Following on from Pat's message, is the story about FC's bar bill at the LA Troubadour vastly exceeding the booking fees true? If so, who was/were the main culprits??
Cheers

yes its true about the troub all were culprits i think mind you the fee was small and the drinks expensive. both stories are true ie peggy and the guitar. it would take ages to type stories i will try one though, we once stayed at the four seasons hotel in canada somewhere, i got a suite ie living room, bedroom etc, went to bed in the early hours and was woken by peggy shouting swarb.I asked him to go away whigh he did! later in the day I rose and naked went into the living room. While i was asleep it had been transformed into a conference room and was full of suits, i bade them good morning and returned to the bedroom chastened.

You'll have to wait for the book... I can see it now. Part 1 - life story, Part 2 - Stories, Part 3 - jokes I'd buy it.

Peggy tells a beautiful one about trying to hang up his mandolin on the wall at The Angel and knocking a hole in the wall so big he caught you and the then Mrs S in the throes of passion. He said it's what lead to you teaching him the tunes for Flatback Capers. And Richard tells a great one about him being asleep and you trying to wake him up. When he finally came to, it was to discover that you'd shaved exactly half of your beard off, right down the middle. Those are two of my absolute faves. It's a wonder you guys could play for laughing half the time! Jules
