If I remember right, you don't drive and never have?  I know quite a few musicians don't, such as your erstwhile partner Martin Carthy, Ashley H doesn't either I think, Ian Anderson etc...

It obviously hasn't been too much of an issue.

Not that I put myself in such company, but I don't drive either, mainly because my mind is way too easily distracted and I think it's safest for everyone if I find other means of getting around.  Smiley  I've just never felt the need for a license.

Is your reasoning similar?

no i dont think so, my reasoning was that like most musos i prefer to get home after a gig,with tiredness and drink, and js and all the other temptations that thankfully abound in a musos life ,i decided to walk.
