elton John?

I have just been reading a 1973 article from ZigZag magazine in which elton john is interviewed and has this to say..
"Also, I'm really into bands like Fairport and Lindisfarne — the English people don't know what they've got in their own backyard. It's the same with Americans, of course, but people like Fairport are so ******g good, any of the lineups, but particularly with Sandy Denny and Dave Swarbrick — Liege and Lief — but I still love the other albums they've made. Also, Ian Matthews, who I think is an incredibly talented person but again is ignored here."
have you ever met Elton?

how nice- he loves his flowers doesn't he? I hope he's still into your music... perhaps he could include a fiddle solo on his next album

What a good idea - I can hear him singing it now, in my head.
