You've mentioned meeting Elton John, and I guess over the years you've shared the bill with many fantastic and world famous musicians but have you ever been totally starstruck on meeting someone - or equally ever been completely awestruck on seeing someone play live.

He's supposed to be a right grumpy so-and-so. Think I'd cross the street to avoid him!

One of the most unassuming and decent blokes I've met is Malcolm Jones of Runrig. Sat along from him at an RT gig in Edinburgh a few years back. He's a fine accordion player as well as guitarist. Must dig out the tape I've got of him playing with Donald Black on gob iron.
