Your arrangement of Jack Orion from
Tipplers Tales
with all those original tunes interpolated really stands out as a masterpiece. Did that take an age to arrange and rehearse?
And was it recorded at a single pass, or bit by bit?

thanks for that, the actuall composing took one night.the rehearsal a couple of days and it was recorded in sections as i recall,

I think I saw you twice in one night on that tour, once at Brum university and once at Barbarella's, though the details are a little vague. Do you remember the occasion? Seeing you playing the fiddle, smoking a fag and singing The Hexhamshire Lass at the same time made a great impression on my drunken young mind. (I told you the details were a little vague). Very very cool indeed.
