As I'm setting up my new business, I'm having a rationalisation of various bits and bobs that I and my family have at the moment.  To this end I have the following up for sale...

An Apple iMac G4 17" 1GHz, 512Mb RAM, 80Gb hard disk, MAC OSX 10.4.11 - previously owned by ollythedolly (as per message above) and bought for my daughter by me last Autumn.  It's in the same Fine condition it was when it came from Olly.  Comes loaded with Logic Express 7 and Microsoft Office.

Tascam US-428 Digital Audio Workstation (that came with the Apple from Olly).  Been used once, and then stored since the Autumn.  Prior to that it was being used virtually every day and I am quite confident is in full working order.  Comes with software, power cable and a 3 page list of commands.

Zoom H2 Handy Digital Recorder.  Quite simply awesome little handheld recorder but much under-utilised by me.  Recorded three live concerts (I got permission before anyone fancies a dig!) and six interview in the 15 months I've had it.  Boxed (but plastic insert now missing) and literally As New.  Comes with all accessories (most not opened) and 512Mb SD card (you'll probably need a 2Gb or 4GB SD card).

Wisper 605f Folding Bike with bag.  Not a lot of use in the wilds of North Wales if truth be told, which is why I've bought a decent Mountain Bike!  Done about 50 miles in total in the 2 years I've owned her (from New).  Wisper now specialise in quality electric bikes (inc folding ones) but are a quality outfit making quality bikes.   Full spec can be seen here http://www.electricbikeworld.co.uk/site/models/605.htm

All of these four items are being listed on eBay tonight between 20:00 and 21:00, but if you are interested in a private sale and want further info / pictures, please feel free to drop me a line.

Danke!

The job hunting situation is pretty dire, and if I'm going to have ANY money over summer at all, I've got to start thinking of selling stuff.

I've got two pairs of these (ie. Two Pairs with Matching Datestamps).  I'm going to get them priced up for postage tomorrow, and maybe stick them on Ebay.  Can anyone advise what a good price would be (thinking at least £150+) for the pair?  Does anybody want them? (They are neither pretty nor folky).

This is the first pair.

1969 G12H Celestion Greenbacks

30w, 16Ω, BR=75Hz

Original Coils and Cones.  Mechanically and musically sound.  1 Dust Cover detached (but included).

Cheers,

Neil

Watford Valves are selling G12Hs for £75 each (www.watfordvalves.com) and they won't be matched pairs and won't be 1969s.  So I reckon you must be in the right ball park at £150 and probably a bit light.

Actually - I read the date codes wrong.  It was soon pointed out that they are '73s - not '69s.  Angry

Still pretty old though.  However, not all G12H's are equal - I'm beginning to find out there are dozens of different types as well.

And apparently, the new ones are, like everything else these days, Made in China.

70's models seem to sell singularly on eBay for between £30 and £35, so maybe they aren't the crock of gold I was hoping for.

They do go for a small fortune in the US - especially in pairs.  However, the postage would be crippling!!

Please can you post the ebay link so we can post some pointless questions, such as "have you had them from new?" or the usual "will you ship to Mongolia?"  or "can I plug my guitar straight into these speakers or do I need an amplifier?" or "Do they take a normal 13amp three pin plug?"

Good luck with the sale Prof. Wink

Yamaha Steel Snare Drum. 14" x 5"
Nice attack/punchy - mint condition (just need to wipe off finger marks off the shiny body!). New head a coupple of months back.
I had an expensive trip to DRum in Leamington spa yesterday and cameaway with a lovely birch 14x7 sonor snare - now after a new crash, so thought i would sell my old snare to fund it!
not compleatly sure what to ask for it... £100ono?!

And last but not least my Vintage V300 acoustic. A small bodied guitar, great for blues, this has spent most of its life tuned to DADGAD and sounds nice
yours for 65 of your english pounds
