I always preferred the shape of the 330. More angular.

Well I've finally made a bid on a Rickenbacker 12 string.  Wish me luck!

Grassy arse.

I've heard that my guitar has arrived at home.  Inspection when I get there!

If only I was that handy.  Did I mention that I don't own a mobile phone?

But one day...when you least expect it....    Grin

Anybody got either of the following for sale:-

1) A tweed Fender amp?

2) A compressor pedal, preferably an MXR?

Thought I'd try here first.

Dont know if you got the Tweed sorted but I bought my Tweed Deluxe clone from Eli Abbott
He's in Northamptonshire, email me (matt1keen at yahoo.co.uk) if you want contact details
Totally authentic and terrific price - he even gets solid pine tweed cabs rather than birch ply

Interesting.  I hadn't considered getting a clone.  What sort of price are we talking, Matt?

Pine cab was £155
Built amp was 300
I had a Celestion 12 Heritage already to put in it
The result is easily the best amp I have ever had in 30 years
Eli also makes authentic Tweed Champs, Bassmans and A Marshall Bluesbreaker
All hand wired old school stuff
[img][img]
Come and hear it if you like

I am ordering the Marshall next and a mate is getting a Tweed Champ
As his day job Eli works for a very well known amp maker in Northampton
