I'm reading Patrick Humphries' biography on Richard at the moment, and there are direct quotes lifted from Richard, Simon and Peggy that there was indeed a Fairport/Led Zep afterhours jam at the Troub in LA.  They even recall some of the songs played.  Maybe you'd passed out under the piano, Swarb!   Wink

yes could be ,however stories grow from nowhere and p.h is not the most unbiased of sources.it never happened trust me.

Never make the mistake of calling a policeman an oxymoron - he'll have you bang to rights quicker than you can say "he tripped down the stairs, your honour!".
