Hi Swarb,

You played with a number of difefrent Fairport line ups over the years, stating the obvious, but for you which one was most fun to be part of?

Was it swapping solos with Richard, or Jerry D, the back to basics four piece with Peggy, Bruce and Simon, or maybe even the  shortlived Brummie mafia line up with Roger Hill

they were all good fun and all produced good music, for me no nine, and lie ge and lief  were the most sattisfying, but then there is babbacoombe.........

I guess it was maybe about the whole experience rather than just the music - what bandmates got you through the rigours of touring with the most laughs etc.

But from what you've said about your friendship with Trevor it comes as no real surprise that Nine was the first that came to mind.
