So, Dave, you were in a band that famously contained three Daves.

At one point in Fairport's history only Simon wasn't called Dave.  Maybe that's why he's stood off to one side in the 'Babbacombe' Lee album photo.  "Simon says stand over here if your name's not Dave".

Did you all arrive with alternate names intact, or did the alter egos of 'Swarb', 'Peggy' and 'DM' arrive when you all found yourselves in a band together, and indeed found yourselves all being called Dave?

I'm very dissapointed that you didn't replace Simon with another Dave.

Any amusing annecdotes related to this deluge of Daves?

Well, they did... Dave Rea. But I don't think DM was with them then
