I've just found this - http://tiny.cc/6afE8 on evilBay. Never seen it before, never heard of it. Anyone know anything about it?

Not a new book. Published in 2005. There was a thread about it at the time:

Worth having, if a little dry and academic for the general reader. Britta Sweers (a very approachable lady, in my experience) intended her book to revise and update The Electric Muse, a more discursive, journalistic study of folk-rock published in the seventies, which is also worth getting hold of if you can find a secondhand copy.

In my opinion a good book. A scholar work (something I like) whose best parts are sections dedicated to singing styles - demonstrating, for instance, how strong and deep was Sandy's traditional background.
