All seems a bit quiet on this front

So I'll start with asking who fancies turning the Cockermouth gig into a mini-fest in The Lakes??

Two days camping at nearby Wyndham Holiday Park campsite and three Cockermouth pubs are in the 2008 Good Beer Guide!

Anyone joining us??

Why not combine it with a Jennings Brewery tour?

Sorry I can't join you Grin

Oh yes, we're having a jar or two aforehand (or maybe afterwards, as I'd rather be sober when taking photos!), aren't we?

Blimey. North and South. Nothing in between. (Apologies to Scottish viewers for whom it's all in the South). (And Welsh viewers for whom it's miles away!!!).

Have been to the Gulbenkian Theatre several times this year, very intimate and atmospheric venue (with lots of free parking).  I received their program a few weeks ago and obviously I didn't read it properly, before sending it on its way to the recycling bin, as I missed this one completely!   Am now in the process of booking (hopefully) ........so thank you everyone for the postings, which brought this to my attention   Smiley  See you in Canterbury.

As none of the others seem to have reported on this one (Canterbury 19th June) thought I'd have a go......in a minor way.  Thoroughly enjoyable and enchanting evening, warm, cosy and sweet.  Headed for home feeling pleasantly mellow with beautiful music circulating inside my head.
I hadn't seen (the newly) equipped Swarb sing before, I found it very emotional, and along with the voices of Chris, Kevin and Martin it certainly made for a delightful  and memorable sound.  I don't think this youtube clip has been posted on here before, but apologies if it has....this is the previous gig in Petworth:

Cockermouth was amazing. Swarb sung about 4 or 5 numbers if my, albeit slightly addled, memory is correct and harmonised on many other tracks. It was the first gig I have been to in a long time to get an instantanious standing ovation.

The Whippersnapper version of John Gaudie is too cool now Chris is the singer he is and the fact Swarb's voice remains the same despite all the previous is even cooler!!

Great version of Sandy's One Way Donkey Ride to end a brilliant night with the "promise" from Swarb that there may be more to come next year!!

Shame on anyone who didn't attend this gig for anything other than distance and cost.

Tamlyn - how was Gateshead??

I think there's another thread somewhere - we have definitely discussed Canterbury - and the YouTube clip.
