If you have any gaps in your Fairport CD collection, Fopp in Covent Garden has a number of CDs at £3.00 including Unhalfbricking, Full House and Nine. Also virtually all of Sandy Denny and Richard and Linda Thompson's Island albums at same price.

Crikey! I shall be working up in town near Covent Garden tomorrow and am after the Sandy discs (I may also replace some of my aging Fairport discs as I have the versions without the bonus tracks). Whereabouts in Covent Garden is the shop Mark?

Hmmm. I think that is going to be a bit of a stroll for me to get to from the Aldwych in my lunch break  Sad. However, I have just discovered that Play.com have all of the Sandy discs for £2.99 each including delivery!  Smiley

My early Fairport CDs date mainly from the late '90s/early '00s before the superdooper ones appeared and are those lovely rustic Island Masters - one sheet of paper as the sleeve, spelling mistakes on the track listing and all!

Well spotted - I was in there last week and picked up four albums I didn't have on CD - Unhalf, Nine, Grassman and Heyday. Marvellous!  Smiley

There are still two Fopps in Glasgow! (Sorry not much use to Ady)

They had FC there as well. I picked up House Full for £3.
I haven't heard this one before, there's some cracking playing on it.

That may be the most unlikely sentence I have ever read!  Grin

Anyone who doesn't have a Fopp store nearby may be interested to know that play.com are selling quite a few of the Fairport and Sandy Island reissues at £2.99 (postage free).
