Simon did a rather fine new recording of it in 1989 for the "Mastercraftsmen" Album.
Never heard of that! What is it and where can I get it?
I don't think it's still available. It was on the Nico Polo label. Various artists with the common link that they were all playing instruments made by Rob Armstrong. Track List
1. Armstrong's Almain (Martin Allcock, Simon Nicle, Dave Pegg, Ric Sanders)
2. Goin' Back (Vikki Clayton)
3. The Last Magician (Pete Laity)
4. Showtime Baby (Martin Jenkins)
5. Downsteps (Gordon Giltrap)
6. I Know My Love (Kevin Dempsey & Chris Leslie)
7. After the Hop/Cambridge Dawn/Carnival (Phil Beer)
8. End of a Holiday (Simon Nicol)
9. The Parting (Bert Jansch & Pette Kirtley)
10. Rooftop Rhapsody (Martin Jenkins)
11. Frank Depsey's Lament/You Can Let Go Now (Kevin Dempsey & Chris Leslie)
12. Spring Dance (Gordon Giltrap)
13. Carrick Roads (Phil Beer)
14. Our Sip is Sailing (Martin Allcock & Dave Mattacks)
All in all an excellent album. Of particular interest is the last track, Our Sip is Sailing. This had words added by Chris Leslie to become Lalla Rookh on "Old, New, Borrowed, Blue"
