Aye, 'tis a nice voice, the one song it reminded me a bit of Trish Yearwood, which is no bad thing imo.

1. Who are you and where are you from? Hi I'm Neil from Poole in Dorset. I edit Fatea Magazine( www.fatea-magazine.co.uk) and curate the Fatea Showcase Sessions( www.fatea-showcase-sessions.co.uk) I take the odd pic or two, go to the local folk club and generally do what I can to lend a hand. Manage to fit in a day job. 2. What made you join Talkawhile? I blame Mark and Carolyn 3. What do you know of Fairport Convention and/or Cropredy if anything? Got a number of the albums, been fortunate enough to go to gigs of the band and some of the side projects. Infrequent visitor to Cropredy. 4. What kind of music do you like? Pretty much right across the acoustic spectrum and into the electric. I'm really fortunate that I get to listen to so much and am constantly surprised by what I hear, normally in a good way. 5. What was the last gig/festival/recital/concert that you attended? What was it like? Outside of the local folk club, the last gig I travelled for was Peggy's Birthday Bash, just looking at 2010 and thinking it's going to be a busy Diary 6. What was the last CD that you bought? Would you recommend it? I'm going to cheat here, Didn't actually buy it, but I've been spending a lot of time listening to "Silent June" the debut release from O'Hooley & Tidow. If you've got a bit of spare cash at the end of February there's a good hole waiting for it. Belinda O'Hooley is such a great songwriter 7. Complete the following sentence: “Tonight, Sir Robert, I am going to be my all time favourite singer ……. Maria McKee and I will sing: 'East Of Eden' (name of song) I'm guessing cross dressing is ok on this board

Good grief - someone from the folk aristocracy, like myself!
It's about time we had a bit of class around here amongst all the riff-raff and common sort.
Naturally, I would expect nothing less than a spot of cross-dressing from an aristocrat. (Your correspondent is currently wearing the Lady Peel's dressing gown and shawl over his night-gown, along with a hair net to keep his thinning locks firmly in place.) Slip into something comfortable, Neil, and join me for a quick snifter of sherry in the Corporation Arms. Bring some fluffy slippers for me, please.
