Hi Jan, see  you at the bar too.  And Bridgwit, when can we start talking about the w*****r?  I'm arriving in UK on Monday and have no idea what to bring?  It's so hot here I can't believe I will need warm clothes!!!

Morning Sue, it's been very mixed!!!!!
Sunny intervals and heavy showers plus fairly strong winds.
It's August and we usually sit with our doors open to the garden in the evening. Last few days we are firmly inside and by late evening the fire is on!!!!
Sheen and I have done a couple of very wet fests recently so our 'look' was shorts, wellies, thick jumper or fleece , floor length ' dryzbone' stockmens coats, to which Sheen added a woodie hat and head torch.
I did the shorts , Sheen went for very warm leggings. Think Autumn!
WHALE are playing on outdoor stages next 2 weekends. It needs to be warmer!

Sue, all I can say is bring waterproofs  Undecided  and as you're used to hot weather you'll feel it more than us when the sun goes down. Fleeces and wellies* could also be needed.....

Hello and thank you the welcome!, if you can recall the questions those the 50+ pages back, here are my considered answers....

1. My name is Kevin and I come from a town outside of Manchester called Bury which , Sir Robert, you will know is your birth town. My birth town is Sunderland but I've lived in Bury for many many many years. I work in IT but I can't fixed your laptop! My handle (breaker 15, come on) refers to my playing the blues harmonica or as we harmonmica dudes call it, a harp, and plain old Kevin was already used.
2. I didn't know you existed untill I saw the message on the fairportconvention site mentioning you good people, so over I came.
3. Kind of late into F.C. My wife has been a life long fan and finally converted me. First time we saw them Simon Nicoll (thump as the name drops) suggested we came (I think he thought I was a bit straight as I had come from work and had a suit on !), been to see them lots of times now around the N.W. Known of Cropreddy for years and we came for the first time in 2016 and we are booked in for this year, didn't get the first 5000 tickets but did get them for Christmas (double whammy on the old Christmas present front).
4. I like both kinds of music (Country and Western!), no really anything except the more challenging end of Jazz.
5. last concert was Richard Digance supported by the Broadside boys. I'm sure we all know Richard, the Broadside boys - yes , a little niave but a 100% yes, modrn folk (songs of beach holidays when you are 11 and  songs of wall of death riders with lion cups on the handle bars!)
6. If you asked me before lunch I would have said the eponymous Broadsode Boys CD and yes I would very much recomend, after lunch some CD's for the run down to Cropreddy which are Public Image hits so far (£3), ABC Lexicon of Love II (£3) (went to see these last year, save your money) and Glenn Campbell Adios (£5), for these prices and the tracks I know on them yes recommend all of them.
7. Good question and one which took me about 3 seconds to consider - Alice Cooper, Under my Wheels

That's it, can I go now?!!
