If we're lucky he might come back to Blackpool. Fingers crossed!

Venues aren't largeenough for that outfit.

Fairport have played at the Platform so I think RT plus the other two would fit on the stage unless he's recruited a dozen minstrels for the tour! Another option would be the Hall at Lancaster university where SoH have played. There must be a reasonable size venue in Preston - the Guildhall maybe? Never been to anything there but I see Swarb's Lazarus are playing there on the 3rd October.

Preston Guildhall is likely to hold sufficient punters, but the others aren't. RT tends to play larger venues than most of those FC plays.

I was of course joking about the Platform, and certainly about the Gregson Centre. I wonder about the Brewery in Kendal, though. The Malt Room, where FAC usually play, would of course be too small. The theatre, on the other hand, might not be a million miles off .... Bridgwater Hall would do me nicely, though.

Well the full electric FC is playing there in March. I'd much prefer the Malt to the theatre if I was still up there....

Though it is much further to go, and on week-day rather than a Saturday, we're still going to head for Basingstoke rather than suffer a New Theatre gig... Anyone else at the Anvil? Cheers Nick
