Miss Reader would be great.

However, the rumour is that Jay-Z enjoyed his Glastonbury Performance so much, that he has asked Peggy if he can come and entertain us.

I'm sorry, if there's going to be a hip-hop/rap act at Cropredy, it can only be Cocker. Nothing else would compare...

The field's not big enough for all his fans.

Seem to remember that last time she played at Cropredy, she padded the gig out by asking all sorts of strange people to join her on stage, including one Mr Hughes (D, not G).  Also, she commented that she only did Perfect at that gig as she'd had a special request from her son or daughter to do so, otherwise she'd stay away from it.

Yes to her playing, but not Friday night headline or Thursday night headline.

Eddi does have a habit of getting people up on stage with her.  Last time we saw her at the Lowry she called onto the stage Clive Gregson, Kate Rusby & Mike McGoldrick.  The most annoying thing about it was that I hadn't realised that Clive Gregson was in the row behind me 'till he was working his way onto the stage!  Roll Eyes

She'd be great at Cropredy, but I have to agree with the comments that she shouldn't be a headliner!
