Which track performed live, in your opinion, most opitomises Fairport to you?
I would have to plump for Matty Groves, for the high energy, story telling and adaptabilty of the track to improvisation, with meet on the ledge a close second.
I would imagine, these two will feature heavily. I am just interested and am probably wrong!

Like you, I'd have to include Matty Groves and Meet on the Ledge. Let's face it, you couldn't imagine a gig without them. How would you know it had finished!!
Other than those I'd have to go for Walk Awhile.
Full House is my favourite Fairport album and I love hearing anything from it live, preferably by its original line up. The reason I'd go for Walk Awhile in particular is because I think it is the one Full House track which the current line up can do justice to. That means I don't have to wait for a Cropredy performance

"Walk Awhile" was the first Fairport track I ever heard and it hooked me in. It's good, live too.

Matty definitely. I love loads of others live, Hiring Fair in particular is a favourite, but that's not what the question asked. The one that opitomises FC live to me is Matty. It has everything, and shows their humour, their musical ability, their togetherness as a band and lots of other things that I can't think of right now.  |

I'm torn between Red & Gold and MOTL.
I think MOTL has the edge because at my first Cropredy it was such an emotional experience.

Matty, MOTL and Walk A While put to one side for a moment (it goes with out saying these are "our" anthems) a candidate which has yet to be mentioned is Rosie.
