Anyone hear RT on BH (Radio 4) at 10am this morning? Reviewing the papers with Bill Paterson and Kirsty Something off property programmes. Then sang a verse of a song written by Richard I. Early music in more ways than one.

Yes, I caught that - he was quite the hesitant shy RT.....but I'm looking forward to hearing the whole (french) song in January.

Yes, he was rather, wasn't he.
I've always thought SN would be a natural for that sort of thing. I'd love to hear him on "Any Questions" or something similar....

For the uninitiated, can we use a few proper names before reverting to initials, please? It comes across as a bit elitist, even if it wasn't intended.
RT = Richard Thompson BH = Broadcasting House (I had to look that one up) SN = Simon Nicol

Yes, sorry. Keep forgetting this isn't an exclusively Fairport Convention forum. Still, IIRS. :-)

Okay now that the names have been used, RT is due to be on AM, presumably from TVC, its certainly on the BBC (Trans; Richard Thompson is due to appear on the Andrew Marr show next Sunday morning, presumably from the BBC's Television Centre) I'm with groove and Keith on this, come on guys, it can't be that difficult to type a full name, surely?

Even if you're not a fan of Richard Thompson* this is a fascinating and intelligent interview. Well worth investing forty minutes in. *Form an orderly, if astonishingly short, queue.
