Shall we do that nearer the time - or we'll only forget!
Good thinking, erm, who was it again?

Was going to book but the £15 tickets are restricted view and £25 is a bit steep.

Ive booked seats at the Barbican with 'restricted views' on many occasions and have had a perfectly good view of the stage, unless Im mistaken you will just be further to the side rather than the centre but still a good view and £15 is a bargain imo.

Your online sales pitch and persuasive informative post made me investigate further so have booked circle seats at only £20. Just hope its not miles from the stage and that Fairport aren't microscopic dots... See you there. Jx

Got my tix. Now begins the delicate process of negotiating with Mrs. John to actually make the transatlantic flight.

Managed to get row D tickets (which I'm rather excited about!). But I never heard anything about it from the Barbican either. Hmmm.... Thanks to the guys on here for the heads up! Really looking forward to it!

As there seems to be some interest in London Gigs: can I point this week of events at Kings Place out to you? It's not far from Kings Cross and not a venue I've had the pleasure of visiting yet, either through the front door or the stage one, but have heard great reports of. (Prepositions notwithsatnding.) Notable for a bit of a Swarbfest on Friday 17th, Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham the day before, and and a great day of workshops (Morris all the way to Klezmer..) with a rare opportunity to hear Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill, whose incredible musicianship really can stop the clock. (This is on the Saturday 18th). If you haven't heard this pair, I think you really should. And Frankie Gavin is there as well! http://www.kingsplace.co.uk/music/weekly-themes?theme=49I hereby declare I have no business interests herein!

Already have tickets for both the Blazing Fiddles gig on the Wednesday & the Swarbfest on the FRiday, who now "shares the evening with Chris Leslie, current member of Fairport Convention, fiddler Gina Le Faux, and Kevin Dempsey from Swarb's latest band Swarb’s Lazarus"

Well, despite all the earlier confusion, tickets arrived safely in this morning's post. Do feel ever so slightly sorry for Barbican Members though.....
