Just have to decide whether to go to the "free" pre-gig sessions or the pub.  At the moment, I'm leaning towards the music; after all, I'm sure some of us may well be having a post-gig drink...

That's the way I'm leaning too - may drop down that pub for a late lunch (2-3.30ish) before heading over to the Barbican....

Could do with E2 here at the moment... have not seen the sun all day. Summer? What summer?

OK - sounds like a plan - Fox & Anchor at 5pm for a swift one, then off to see Iain M in the foyer.

If anyone going to this tomorrow would also like tickets for the ISB tribute gig on Sunday I have two to give away, free, gratis, as we found out today that Mr S has to be back in Oxford Sunday night to work.

I will bring them with me tomorrow.

Those not attending might be interested to know you can download a programme for both events from here: http://www.barbican.org.uk/media/events/8999fairportprogfinallowres.pdf and then I suppose you put a compilation of your favourite bits from the first few albums on and shut your eyes ...

I've just noticed that sharing the stage with Richard Thompson on Sunday night is one Green Gartside, who I have always presumed to be the subject of the line "Her boyfriend plays in Scritti Politti" in the song "A Bone Through Her Nose". In the context of that song, I never took that line as being very complimentary.  Wink Interesting.

If they don't get claimed as a pair, I will gratefully relieve you of one of them.

Indeed it was - splendid way to spend one's wedding anniversary!

I will sort out a set list shortly (unless someone beats me to it) but a cup of tea has just been poured for me.
