What he needs is an all-star celebrity concert!

I didn't realise he was a couple of years younger than Peggy.

Happy birthday RT!

20:00 our time - if my calculations are correct. All you need to know about PDT here: http://www.timeanddate.com/library/abbreviations/timezones/na/pdt.html

And Happy Birthday Mr T.

Live Warrior looks great.  His birthday gift to us all.

Over several shows in 2007 and this year, I heard pretty much every tune from Sweet Warrior, and they were all great.  I'm glad he included such a generous selection on Live Warrior.  I miss "Johnny's Far Away" and "Poppy Red," both of which he played in Austin in 2007 and 2009, and "Francesca" (and IIRC "Too Late to Come Fishing") which he played a couple of days before his appearance at Cropredy 2007.  I guess he would have had to go to a double CD to include everything, which would have altered the economics of the release.  So I'll quit bitching!

Just ordered it.

Is it just me, or is the new boxed set a total waste of time?

http://www.richardthompson-music.com/catch_of_the_day.asp?id=1039

Nothing new on it for fans, and are the curious going to buy a 4 disk box instead of a (say) 2 disk best of?

One track of daring adventures and 6 (!) off Mirror Blue - strange to say the least.

On reflection I do agree with you...it does neither one thing or t'other, does it?
