What? I'm first? OK, please introduce the current line-up, especially the rhythm section. Can you provide a little background about them? The rhythm section that is ...
Hi Bob!
I can't give you chapter and verse on our new rythm section at the moment as it is vast! I have pleaded with both of them to get full biogs to me for the website. This really hadn't ought to be all that difficult as we live within a few hundred yards of each other and meet in the Artichoke most evenings.
However the basics of LJE are:
Myself,Guy Fletcher,PJ Wright. As ever.
Hugh Bunker is now playing bass and was with Fatima Mansions for seven years. He was on U2's Zoo TV world tour with the Mansions as well as having a lot of session telly credits including Ab Fab and French and Saunders.Hugh has the most endearing catch phrase "It never did me any harm" although he can't remember much about it all!
Mark Stevens is now on drums and with our assistance is producing our current album. This is his first time with folk n roll.
He has a very long list of credits for sessions, writing, co writing and producing, in the mainstream and for television.
Mark has written songs for Gabriel, the music for the Ali Gee show and more recently all of the music for the Peter Kay Christmas spoof Britain's got the X factor. Most recent of all are;Send In The Dogs,Stabbed, and Doctors and Nurses On The Frontline.
All of this information is correct but probably not in the right order and I know I've left loads out.
Keep your eye on the website as there are going to be some interesting developments over the next few days including some film footage of us in the studio where you will get to meet the newest recruits hard at work.
As I said I will keep pestering them for biog to post on the site.
I hope this goes some way to answering your question Bob
Regards GT
