Hi Geetee

I first saw you in the The Phil Beer Band, it was the Lichfield Guildhall year 2000, at the end of the show you had all left stage and Phil was still playing his mandolin, you came in from a door behind him with a huge teapot to make everybody laugh and to give him the message that you had all had enough now.

Have spotted you since in lots of different bands and line ups, and now you are due to play with my favorite of all time Mr Colvin, am hoping the Englishmen get some UK gigs!

My question is which is/was your favorite 'band to be in'?

Zoe CQ fan and sometimes merch lady Grin

Hi Zoe!

I couldn't answer that without getting the sack from everywhere else could I? lol.
I love them all if i didn't I would leave it's one thing having a bad day at the office from time to time but it's completely different being miserable.I've been really lucky as I've never had that.
LJE is my band and I'm really focused and excited about the next chapter but from time to time I do have to deal with the warts and all side of things rather than just concentrate on the musical side which is after all why I joined up!
Touring with Phil is always great we never quite know what the set is going to be. There are nearly always problems getting everyone together to reherse intime for a tour but I love that bit of it as well. The cast of that band, past and present, have always been great people to work with! Phil is one of my most favourite people on the planet. Grin
I loved the Miranda Sykes band and wish that had been able to go on a bit longer working with not only MS doing the material she wanted but also working with Pete Zorn and Maart at the same time in the same place was fantastic.
Hopefully the Englishmen will do something over here I love CQ and Gerry and Nick are great mates!

Thanks Zoe

Also will you ever do another Mini fest in the Telegraph garden, that one August bank holiday a few years ago was good fun Grin

Hi Zoe

I won't be doing that again for the simple reason I no longer own it!
I would like at some point to get involved with a festival though as it does interest me.
Cheers GT
